INNOVATION ENABLER AWARD

OVERVIEW

The Innovation Enabler Program is a Thread Group initiative which recognizes IoT start-up companies. We help emerging companies launch Thread-enabled products by granting them a 1-year complimentary Thread Group membership, 2 additional years at discounted rates, and discounted first time certification fees*.

 

*First year of complimentary membership at Contributor level, and second & third year discounted Contributor level.

BENEFITS

Thread Group Innovation Enabler Program provides start-up companies the opportunity to define the IoT through access to Thread’s technology and its members. Winners are selected biannually based on the creative potential of their ideas and the use of Thread technology. The award enables recipients to build new components and products using Thread technology.

 

Winners are selected twice a year (submissions are accepted January-June and July-December with awards granted in July and January). Award recipients receive the following benefits:

  • 1-year complimentary Thread Group membership, 2 additional years at discounted rates, and discounted first time certification fees
    • First year at Contributor level for $0, US $20,000 value
    • Second year at Contributor level for $8,000
    • Third year at Contributor level for $14,000
    • First Certification:50% of the Thread Group certification fee if completed within the first two years of being awarded the IEP membership
  • Logo on Thread Group website
  • One complimentary registration (US $850 value) to a Thread Group Member Meeting
  • Co-marketing opportunities and promotions including Social Media (LinkedIn, X, BlueSky, and Mastodon)

HOW TO APPLY

We're inviting submissions from innovative start-up companies that are:

  • Pre-Series A funding (projects on platforms like Kickstarter / IndIegogo are acceptable)
  • Planning to implement Thread technology in their products or components
  • Willing to provide information as to why Thread was selected and how it will be used

Thread Group assumes no liability for disclosure or use of data submitted as a part of your membership application.
After the first year, Thread Group membership is the responsibility of the individual company as described in the program details.
